Free downloads of some very old Vermont maps.

Many old Vermont maps show roads, but the oldest published maps typically show only major roads.  On this page we offer downloadable copies of of these early maps in the period 1795-1900 which show roads, and railroads. 
(Most of these maps are from the remarkable David Rumsey web site. We have a modified the original scans to allow easy web-viewing and download. Some of the maps will be hard to read, but all roads will be evident.)
And, we also offer some free downloads of the Beers county road maps (no owner names).
